How to Heal or Prevent Pressure Sores

The Duet Mattress System is a 3 in 1 air mattress with Pulsation, Low Air Loss and Lateral Rotation.

The Duet mattress is designed to aid patients who are at risk of developing pressure ulcers and for treatment of existing Stage 1, 2, 3 and 4 pressure ulcers. The Duet should also be considered for acute intervention for pulmonary patients. Pulsation and alternating therapy increase blood circulation by decreasing pressure points.

The Duet Mattress can accommodate patient weights up to 600 lbs.

Eliminate manual repositioning: The Prius Duet is a rotation system and can provide patient rotation 24 hours a day. By slowly, gently and quietly repositioning the user, this mattress facilitates treatment of pressure ulcers while helping to offset the hazards of immobility. This rotation therapy in 40 degrees significantly lowers the risk of infection, pneumonia and other pulmonary complications.

Easy to use: The user-friendly high flow control unit offers 10 comfort levels; adjustable turning cycles and a maximum turn angle adjustment of up to 40 deg.

Maximum Roll Angle: 40 deg.

Cycle Time: Cycle time can be adjusted 3 minutes to 95 minutes.

ALTERNATE Setting: Provides 3 in 1 alternating pressure therapy that can be adjusted from 3 to 20 minutes in 1 minute increments or 20 to 95 minutes in 5 minute increments.

PULSATE setting: Gently raises and lowers the pressure of the entire air mattress every 90 seconds (60 seconds of pulsation) for an alternative to traditional alternating pressure. Simulates a massage to assist in maximizing patient comfort.

Mattress Size: 36"W x 80"L x 10"H also available in 42" and 48" widths.

The Duet Mattress slowly, gently, and quietly rotates the user laterally up to 40 degrees. Provides caregivers the flexibility to select a standard turning program, or to create a pattern fully customized to the patient's condition.
