The P.R.O. Matt Plus combines two complementary technologies: the automatic four-zone P.R.O. valve system that continuously optimizes pressure without manual intervention, and the CBC Control Unit that adds powered alternating pressure therapy for enhanced wound healing and prevention.

P.R.O. Technology — How It Works

An internal network of hosing and proprietary P.R.O. valves senses patient weight distribution across four distinct zones — head, shoulder, torso, and foot. As the patient moves or repositions, the valve system instantly adjusts air pressure in each zone to maintain optimal support. This happens automatically, continuously, and silently — no buttons, no settings, no manual inflation needed.

CBC Control Unit — Three Operating Modes

• Static Mode: All zones maintain constant pressure — use during transfers, meals, wound care, or patient preference
• Autofirm Mode: Rapidly inflates all zones to a firm surface for easy patient transfers and nursing procedures

Cover Options

• Nylon Zippered Cover: Most durable — fully waterproof, stain-resistant, removable for deep cleaning. Best for facilities and high-use settings.
• Stretch Cover: More comfortable and breathable — better for home care where patient comfort is priority. Still fully waterproof.
