Hoyer HPL500 Mobile Patient Lift

The HPL500 is a robust, versatile mobile patient lift designed for safe daily transfers in home care and facility settings. With a 500 lb safe working load, a wide 20"–76" effective lifting range, and the choice of powered or manual base, the HPL500 gives caregivers the flexibility to handle transfers comfortably and safely — from the floor, bed, chair, wheelchair, toilet, or recliner.

Powered Base vs Manual Base

• Powered Base: Legs open and close via electric control — no manual pushing. Easier in tight spaces and for caregivers with limited strength.
• Manual Base (foot-operated): Legs open and close via foot pedal — more economical option for settings where the powered base isn't needed.

Smart Monitor Technology

The integrated Smart Monitor tracks lift usage and service intervals to support ongoing maintenance and safety compliance — helping facilities stay on top of equipment servicing schedules.

Sling Compatibility

The HPL500 uses a standard 6-point loop-style spreader bar compatible with the full range of Hoyer slings including QuickFit, Full Back, Access, Long Seat, and QuickFit Deluxe. Slings are sold separately.

Delivery Information

Curbside delivery only — no inside delivery available. Ships in multiple cartons, light assembly required. Base and mast/boom are pre-assembled. Someone must be capable of lifting the mast/boom section and placing it into the base assembly.
