EZee Life 170 Tilt & Recline Rehab Shower Commode

The EZee Life 170 adds full recline capability to the tilting rehab chair format — providing maximum positioning flexibility for patients with balance control problems, spasticity or tone issues, or those who need to be reclined for hygiene care and comfort. The rust-proof aluminum frame goes directly into the shower, and the open commode seat design rolls over most toilets for bathroom transfers.

Tilt vs Recline — What's the Difference

• Tilt (0–13°): The entire seat and back tilt together as a unit — redistributes pressure without changing the hip angle. Useful for pressure relief and patients who slide forward in the seat.
• Recline (90–111°): The backrest reclines independently — changes the hip angle. Useful for patients with tone or spasticity, for relaxation, and for easier perineal care.
• Combined: Using both together provides maximum positioning control for complex care needs.

Three Functions in One Chair

• Shower Chair: Rust-proof aluminum frame — goes directly into shower stall
• Commode Chair: Remove key-insert to convert padded seat to open horseshoe commode style
• Toilet Transfer Chair: Roll directly over most toilets for bathroom transfers

X-Headrest

The X-style headrest supports the neck where it meets the back of the skull. The arms of the headrest can be flexed in or out by squeezing or pulling apart — providing more control or freedom as needed. Headrest angle is also adjustable.

Positioning System

• Seat tilt: 0–13 degrees — single lever release
• Lower back recline: 90–111 degrees from seat position
