How to Repair Broken Fork
Front Fork Replacement for Dolomite Legacy, Maxi, Maxi+, Alpha, Futura and Symphony Rollators.This is the 8" Front Swivel Fork and does not include the wheel.
Protect your forks:
Almost everyone needing to replace a broken front fork broke it by sitting on the walker and scooting with their feet. Be careful if you do that. If the wheel is not facing the direction you're about to roll, you run the risk of breaking the fork. It is a walker, not a wheelchair. Before sitting on your walker lock the brakes.Fork Colors:
- Part number D12591-25 (Dark Grey): Maxi, Symphony, Legacy, Alpha and Futura Tall
- Part number D12591 (Black): Legacy and later dated Maxi
Symphony Rollators use Grey forks.
Newer Maxi Rollators have Grey forks, but older units may have Black.
Replacing the fork requires 13mm and 19mm sockets and either a 13mm boxed end wrench or crescent wrench.
