The ActiveCare Auto-Pivot bed gives users the ability to control the pivoting function of MedMizer's Pivot Bed with the touch of a button. The Auto-Pivot feature is controlled by the hand pendant. The "Pivot" assists with standing, sitting upright, and transferring in and out of bed. It allows the bed to transition into a seated position where the user can place their feet on the floor and safely enter or exit the bed. Thus making shifting, scooting, and swinging one’s legs over the side of the bed unnecessary.

The ActiveCare Auto-Pivot Bed comes in two different frame styles: a fixed height frame or a power adjustable height frame (Hi-Low Bed)

Adjustable Height Option

The height adjustment controls located on the hand pendant make it easy to adjust the bed height between 12.5"-27.5" (this is the deck height, you would add mattress height to this for overall heights) all done with the touch of a button. The adjustable height frame also includes 3" rolling caster wheels, giving the bed the ability to be transported if need be. Additionally, ActiveCare's trendelenberg remote is available as an upgrade for the adjustable height frame which allows the Auto-Pivot bed to achieve trendelenberg and reverse trendelenberg positioning. This new feature is perfect for ActiveCare's home care beds. With ActiveCare's new adjustable height frame, you can easily adjust the bed to your needs!

Of course if you're purchasing this bed you will need a Med-Mizer split mattress system in order to pivot. Choose from the following types:
(1.) Deluxe Prevention Mattress: This is a 7" multi-layered mattress designed for pressure distribution. It consist of multi-layered foam with middle die cut for superior pressure redistribution. The stretch cover offers a low shear friction surface. The cover is anti-microbial and moisture resistant.
(2.) Elite Mattress: This a 7" Copper Gel infused memory foam for superior immersion and heat dissipation. The stretch cover offers a low shear friction surface. The cover is anti-microbial and moisture resistant.
(3.) StatMatt Mattress: This is a 7" Zoned Reactive Air System that reacts to movement and body weight. The stretch cover offers a low shear friction surface. The cover is anti-microbial and moisture resistant.
